Haven't been this year, but in the past, once the water cools off they will move up shallow in the trees. CJ's shad flavor and/or secret 7.

Agree with the post above on all but bait. If at all possible chum the place your going to try to fish. I would try around the parking area if you can get down to the bank there. Throw out some Maise(soured) if you can make it or get it. If not use MR.WHISKERS on a #4 treble hook and a bobber about 3ft depth. Might go to right of boat ramp. I have fishe the slu you can drive to but never caught a fish in there. Good luck and Thom Whitlock make of Mr.Whiskers is usuaally out there on the Weekends and you can get his bait there or I think the little store just pass Coats Rd. towards Glen Rose. It is all i use and have compared the baits side by side.
