I went to tawakoni this thanksgiving and over the span of two days only got 6 but hey I did get some meat to put in the freezer

Nice job, it was still slow today.

Got one 5 pound blue about 8:30 this morning on chicken gizzard. Also a very solid hit mid morning on the only rod without a circle hook, turned around to see a 7.5' medium heavy bent in half but did not get there in time. Nothing on chicken breast or a few large frozen shad I had left.

All action was from drifting a few feet under large corks in 3-4 feet of water, nothing on the santee or traditional bottom rigs the or lines I waded out 30 yards to pitch into deeper water. I fished 5 rods until about 2 this afternoon.

Thanksgiving sucked for us on the boat there too, got 2 blues in about 7 hours, drifted and anchored every depth on the lake with cut shad and only managed 2
