Fishing private water today. Have caught several 3+ with extremely small mouths. Has anyone ever seen this before, have an explanation?

Thanks for the input. I caught several that were like that. This tank dried up and was restocked three years ago. The numbers weren't great today, but only two dinks, several 2-3 lbs and three over 4 lbs.

I caught a fish today should've been 7+ lbs. it was really long and skinny. It's mouth was so big I could stick my fish in it. The fish has red spots on it looked like burns kind of. I almost put it out of its misery.

I caught this one five years ago, right before the tank dried up. It was the ranch record out here, so they asked me to mount it. It was a six pound fish on an eight pound body. But it looks good on my wall and was going to die anyway. As of now, my record stands. I hope I'm the one that breaks it!!!
