I haven't seen any in the SA personally but in ottine tx there's a dam on the sanmarcos that holds a few

I haven't seen any in the SA personally but in ottine tx there's a dam on the sanmarcos that holds a few I have fished the SA river a lot over the years and have never seen a gar much less a spotted gar!  Just fishing in the wrong places.
