Spent a few hrs on Tyler State Park yesterday in the float tube. Water was incredibly clear and cold. Fishing was a litle slow but I did manage to get a number of these:

And then my fishing for sunfish got interrupted by these. They found the worms under a bubble to be more than they could stand.

Fishing wise it was pretty slow. But the lake was gorgeous and a number of turtles came by to say hello and a mallard drake and his lady friend stopped in for lunch. And as always, any day on the water is a good day. All fish were released to do whatever it it that fish do to amuse themselves.

Tyler will be stocked with trout in the next couple of weeks and for a native born child of Colorado I'm looking forward to catching a few.

Cheers Y'all
