Has anyone fished this trail as a coangler? How many boats usually enter? Was it a good experience?

I've fished it for several years. Didn't fish the east last year due to conflicts but continued to fish the southeast division. Chris does a good job running the trails. In. 2016 the east division drew 50-60 boats in the 4 division tourneys with 38-45 co-anglers. I can say I've enjoyed my years of fishing the trail. I fished it when I first got a boat, when I didn't have a boat, and continue to do so even though I got a boat last Feb. For me it's all about learning and competition. Pm me if you have any specific questions. I will be glad to answer questions or give you my number to talk about it. This trail has given me the opportunity to fish some lakes that were new to me, meet some good guys, improve my skills, and travel to fish in other states for regional and national tournaments. Great trail. I have fished this trail off and on for the last 6 or so years. coachmas is spot on with respect to the co-angler numbers. I have had nothing but good experiences.

Chris does an awesome job as tournament director.

Agreed on Chris doing a great job. I've met some great guys and really good fisherman fishing as a co on this trail. I'll be there this year.
