Headed out there after thanksgiving for a few days. Anyone been having any luck?

Yes numbers of fish are off the hook. Easy right now to catch 50-100 fish a day if you know any of the deep spots at all. Not a lot of big ones being caught over the past few weeks but LOTS of fish. This cooler weather should change things a bit. Drop shot C-rig both work. We had 80-90 fish the other day and could have doubled that but we went looking for bigger ones.

Jigging spoons are killing the big drum right now. LOL No kidding last Friday we caught 4 of the biggest drum I have ever seen and three of them were on a spoon.

Been here the last two days. 7 fish total, none to speak of. Threw black and blue jig with rattle starting at 12-15ft (2 fish), moved up to 4-6ft, at same time my partner threw a c-rig... we used drop shot in 8-12ft, one fish. Ran a white and black speckled square bill and brought in three, 4-6ft... last two on texas rig ribbon tail watermelon.

Like Ken said throw a drop shot a c rig and spoon. Search till you find a school of fish and you can catch a bunch.

Look in 18-23' in the lower end of the lake, either on high spots, sides of points, or low spots inside creek mouths. If you don't see them on sonar keep moving. Shallowest I've found them was 12' on a main lake point and they moved deeper real soon after the sun got up.

What Ken said. Went today and lost count had at least 50. Look for bait in 18-25 ft. Found two spots stacked with fish. Biggest below. Should have been over 10 but was long and pretty skinny and in bad shape.

I was out there yesterday for 5 hours in the afternoon. I wasted a lot of time idling creek channels just to find hardly any shad there, especially any shallow. I ended up catching 10 in the last two hours on main lake points and secondary points on a C-Rig in 15-23' of water. Nothing any bigger than 16"
