Little skeptical heading out this morning with post frontal conditions and a decent breeze out of the north, but had to get a trip in before the holiday weekend with family. Luckily the wind cooperated just enough to be able to fish some of the western parts of the dam area. Jerry Hancock was spot on with his reports, found fish in 21-27ftw laying with their bellies on the bottom. Drop it to the bottom and watch your line on the way down, can't tell you how many of these fish hit it on the fall. If it makes it to the bottom without a bite, pick it up about 5 feet and let it fall back down. I fished a black/chart plastic on an 1/8oz jighead. No monsters today, but some nice 12-13"ers.

Keep it pretty simple, 6lb Suffix Seige tangerine and an 1/8oz jighead.
