Nice ones Clayton. Love that Inner City fishing. There are spots on both the Salado and Leon Creeks where you can catch 10 plus pound fish.
IGFA World Record Rio Grande Cichlid. Lake Dunlap. John 3:16 Sinner's Prayer. God forgive me a sinner. I accept Jesus Christ as my Savior !

Nice fish. Breckenridge Park years and years ago used to have some huge Carp and Rios! You could walk the sidewalks and see them just about any day. Fed them bread!

I fish the Trinity here in the DFW area. Lots of huge carp. One time, I had two on at the same time. Luckily, one was running downstream and one up. I had to alternate hitting the freespool on the two Zebcos loaded up with 6 lb. test, but eventually landed aboth the 8 lb. and 12 lb. carp.
A few years ago, they had the San Antonio river dammed up and the water redirected while they did repairs downtown, and I saw a good sized crappie sunning in the middle of downtown.....soooo, they're in there, the rest is up to you!!!! LOL.

Nice urban catches.
With all the big carp, mullet and tilapias I see in the ditches, creeks, bayous and concrete drainage canals around Houston, I'm surprised more folks aren't fishing in them.
