Orvis - Customer Service done right

So last year I put up a post about a hat I wanted to buy...looked all over and settled on an Orvis Buffalo Nickel made by Stetson.
I received the hat...and it was too big. So me on drugs (I had just had my knee replaced - heavy Norco) I decided to order another one the right size. In February I realized I had this hat sitting around and needed to return it....so procrastination set in...for the life of me I can not figure out why I have this procrastination issue around stupid stuff, but I do.
Well October rolls around...then November, that Hat has now been in my house for a year...I am like, what the heck I am going to try...their website says no limit on time frames as long as the product is returned new. I just happened to have the return UPS label they sent so I put off my year long procrastination.
Not only did the UPS label still work after a year (many times the retailer will make this a 60 day window for the label to be valid) Orvis returned my freaking money in 4 days.
Wow - I dont know how you get better than that!
I don't buy much from Orvis outside a a few Fly Fishing gadgets but man what an organization.
Whether you think you can or you can't, you are probably right.
