It's really nice to find someone who exceeds your expectations on work they do for you. David at Shut Up and Fish did an excellent job with my Garmin installation and exceeded my expectations with the quality of the work. He cleaned up the mess of wires under the console (came that way from the factory). He fixed the wiring on my trolling motor batteries and cleaned that up and organized everything. The installation is perfect. Everything is solid, clean and in order. When I get my new trolling motor I'm going to buy it from David and have him install it. I was really impressed. Use David if you need work done.

Good to know John. I knew David had good prices but I didn't know he installed his products

Gene, I wish I knew about him installing much sooner. Todd yes I got the side scan chirp. It is panoptix compatible if I spend the money for the transducer. The clarity on this unit is really good. It also has a type of 3D. You can see the contours of the lake and where the fish are in the water column. Its cool I'll show it to you when I have a chance.

Hummingbird just announced a new sonar that uses Megahertz instead of kilohertz frequencies. The clarity is unbelievable. It will be available in the spring I think. The Helix units will be called Helix Mega.

My Garmin is this years technology, its like buying a computer, when you leave the store it is out of date.
