Fought the wind Friday night and ALL through Saturday. Winds were screaming and cutting so hard that it was splashing up over the piers and over the jetty. Sunday morning was BEAUTIFUL weather and we got a couple hours of fishing in before we had to head home. Sand trout and specks were destroying our DoA mullet from the pier. Ran out of bait so I caught one little piggy perch and a southern kingfish and hooked them in tandem. Maybe 5 minutes later I hooked into a 37" bull red. My first bull red ever and man was it fun.  upload a picture free image uploading

That is a healthy looking beast! Wife and I planned to head down that way this past Saturday but called an audible at the last minute because of the windy conditions you talked about. I might try to sneak down that way in the next few weeks.
