I'm fishing Squaw for the 1st time Friday since 1999. Any tips to get me started would be appreciated. I'm not fishing any tourneys or prefishing for any.

Are you looks for numbers or big fish? Fish 15-30' right now for big fish and 2-15' for numbers. Stay midlake for numbers

Just wanting to catch some fish. Not looking specifically for a SAL. Thanks for the tips. I've only been on the lake twice and that was back in the late 90's.

Fish main lake points. Back off of them and find trees in 15-20fow. T-rig just about any plastic and leave bait in the trees and don't move your bait fast. Slow presentation and trees is the key. Only reel up when you have a 4lber on. Just about any color in watermelon is good. Dip it in chart dye. Senkos, Flukes, brushhogs, lizards, worms....they'll hit them all. It doesn't hurt to let the bait just sit still, either, if you're in the trees. Good Squaw fishin'.....

Okie cheers
