Hi there I mounted my transducer on my XI5 trolling motor when I turn it on I get these annoying vertical lines When it turns of it's clear I tried to mount it on a aluminum rod about a foot away from motor and still get the feedback any advice would be appreciated thank you.

Do you have your unit wired to the starting battery or is it powered from somewhere at the bow?
If it isn't wired to the starting battery start there. If you still have RFI the get a piece of rubber hose just a bit larger that the transducer cable. Cut a slit down the hose and put the hose onto the transducer cable and wrap it with electrical tape. Put aluminum foil around the transducer cable before placing the hose onto the cable.

hi I have it tied in to my bow light going through light switch I tried to just hook it up to my portable battery pack still get the interference when motor is on will a ferrite choke help any please let me know thank you
