Does anyone on here know of a kayak fishing guide in or around Fort Worth? I'm new to the sport and to be honest I've been struggling. I was hoping to find a guided trip and learn a few pointers. If any of you know of anyone or have any suggestions please let me know.

thank you
Tom

There are kayak fishing guides?

Who knew?!

Heck around DFW I'd bet there are lots of guys who would take you out, show you a spot or two and give you some pointers for free

I'm in Denton County but if you ever want to hit up Lewisville PM me.

I like to go with Shane Davies. I have been fishing for 60 years and kayaking for 5 years but a day on the water with Shane is well worth my time and money. Last time I went with him was a short afternoon trip below Lake Whitney on the Brazos. In about 4 hours I caught over 50 fish. Shane is an awesome guide and is a good teacher.
Now it the season to ask the Old Lady to give you a Guided Trip with Shane for a Christmas Present. In fact Shane is a excellent guide for taking the whole family on a guided trip on the Brazos.
