A falling or low steady pressure is prime for largemouth. Is rising or steady high pressure better for crappie...? I know a ole timer that does nothing but chase the crappie and he told me the rising or high pressure was best. I didn't say anything to him but just chalked it up that he had it backwards.

That's interesting. Ben and I were discussing that. I personally always have better luck on rising pressure than I do on a decreasing pressure. If you notice the pressure usually rises slightly every morning and every evening. Those are usually prime time fishing periods for most species. Then again, I am not a big LMB fisherman, I do more panfishing than anything.
