Went out to Cherokee Lake on Friday night and Saturday Morning. Friday afternoon before the cold front hit the bass were feeding like crazy, we were throwing a fluke and letting it drift down the current coming out of the power plant on Cherokee caught bass between 2-5 pounds and even a 5 pound catfish. Saturday morning the bite was a bit slower due to the 34 degree wind that was blowing in. As the day warmed up the bite did as well, we caught over 20 bass on a texas rig pitching boat docks, the fish were hitting the bait as it was just sitting. My buddy locked on to a 6 pounder and caught many 2-3's. Saturday afternoon we went out to fish at Lake Winnsboro on the way back from East Texas. The bass were on fire caught 15 bass in about 2 hours all on white spinner bait about as close to the timber as you can get it. The water temp was consistent at 64-65 degrees. Great weekend here's a video hope you enjoy. Get out and Fish!
