2000 Skeeter ZX 185dc "limited edition", with a Yamaha OX66 150 motor. 1 owner purchased brand new in November of 2000 from Dawson Marine in Beaumont TX. I know where every scratch, dent, chip came from. This boats been at the following lakes and it's never given me a lick of trouble or issues: Falcon, Amistad, Conroe, Choke, Medina, Canyon, Coleto Creek. I replaced the water pump & impeller 2 months ago, so they are good to go for a year or two.
The boat runs 62mph with me, 1/2 tank of fuel and my gear. The fuel tank holds 36 gallons.
Blinker style tilt & trim, tandem axle trailer with 4 good tires (installed about 4 months ago).
Graphs on the boat are a Hds gen2 9" touch (console) with lss2 transducer, a Hds gen2 7" touch on a 2.25 ram mount at the bow hooked to the us2 transducer and a lowrance 1440 flasher (console) in case a graph breaks while on the water.
80lb 52" Minnkota Terrova "ipilot" (with remote and foot pedal) trolling motor.
The live well pumps and all hoses (live wells and bilge) were replaced back in the summer.
A brand new 2 bank Dual Pro "professional 15amp" charger was installed and all 3 batteries were replaced with Interstate brand a few months ago as well.
Cons: 2 spots on a corner box where the carpet is coming loose and it has some stains like a used boat would.
3 gel coat chips about the size of an eraser head on the top cap and the motor cowling had a few small chips, all from tungsten bullet weights. Mouse chewed a little of the rubber off of the glovebox while in storage at Choke Canyon.
Tach gauge is not working, easy to fix though. Tilt & trim gauge is not working. Speedo gauge stays clogged, so I use the graphs GPS for speed.
I got hung up at a gas station that was too tight and caught the front of a fender on a concrete light post, I sprayed it with white spray paint to keep it from rusting and the paint doesn't match very well. The trailer is in pretty good shape overall, but it does have quite a few rock chips and surely that's to be expected.
The keel guard started to let loose, so I glued it back on with 3m 4200. There's a few scuffs on the bottom of the hull from pulling up on a shallow bank so my daughter could swim.
Price $12,000 with graphs or $11,000 without the graphs & lss2 transducer.
