Didn't have a scale with me and didn't measure length either. What do you guys think this one weighed? Rayburn on a trap.

It's really tough to tell from a picture. I've held up 5's that look like 8's and 8's that looked like 5's. Regardless it's a dang good bass!

Great fish buddy! Fish looks every bit of 8 maybe more. She's thick and long. Yeah Ken...we've exchanged a few messages from the old "fastbass" site. I used to run a 21 Bullet years ago. Still hope to actually meet you someday...anyway...yeah that fish was a good one...I told the guy I was with probably in the 8 class...but the more pics I looked at of 10's..I thought I might have just caught my first DD in 25 years of bass fishing and didn't even realize it...LOL..oh well she's as a good one anyway.

You're right, I've seen reportedly measured tens that have the same characteristics of your bass. They look to have the length of an eight, but with thick belly, shoulders, and tail.

Thanks again for the replies....was pretty sure she was 8 plus..have caught several fish in this class at falcon and they always seem to be in the 8 range...this one was just a bit bigger...lesson learned..buy a new scale! Thanks guys...

In 3-4 years it will weigh close to 12, lol.
I am a Senager. (Senior teenager) I have everything that I wanted as a teenager, only 50 years later. I get an allowance every month. I have PU truck and a bass boat, I am blessed. Conscience never acquits, it either accuses or excuses.
