I haven't been in a year, wondering how the fishing is? Thanks!

it was fair before this front, not sure how this will affect the fish. Fish have been shallow before today, probably will pull out a little and you should start seeing more bait fish in the back of the major coves.

The fishing has been the best I've ever seen it out there this year. Just find good shallow cover and flip creature baits in it. You'll get bit. I imagine the topwater and spinnerbait bite should be picking up too.

The shallow bite has been real good this past few weeks, we will have to see what this cold front does to them. I would go to the back of the main lake coves and start looking for shad populations and start fishing where you find them. good luck.

I think I may have caught more in the last month than the whole summer. I am not a great deep fisherman. pitching brush hogs and swimming white jigs through the brush and willows has paid off both from boat and kayak. having a blast.

Where?

I'm on the little elm side and have tried from north as well, I must be doing it wrong.

No bass in the Lew. loco only sandies, hybrids and the notorious catfish to be had there. You should check out the old windmill at Ray Roberts though! thumb

Good day for us using spinner baits and senkos. On fished from 8 to 1 since we waited for the frost to melt but caught about 20. Nothing ove 2.5 but they are chasing shad in shallow brush.

The giant caught today was close to us. Congrats to Scott!
