Been hitting the creek fish hard for the last couple of days because this weekend will put a hurting on them for a good while. Fished Monday and found the fish stacked up and hungry after the cold weather last week. Found the fish about 10 ft down over submerged brush. Caught 35 or so with at least 20 keepers (wasn't keeping). Most were good eaters but had a couple in the 13-14 inch range. Wind made it tough to jig and bobber them so I left them biting. All were caught on feather jigs.
On Tuesday I went scouting to get out of the wind and found a few fish in a new creek but most were small so I quickly left and checked on another creek and got into some bigger fish. This creek had fish that were shallow (1-2ft) and were aggressive once located. I was using 3 inch zoom flukes and feel that maybe it helped on getting some nicer fish. Here is a short video from yesterday. I hope you all enjoy. Monday's video will be up next week.
