Faster than I need to go! My boat will run 70 mph and that's fast enough, at least that's what my wife tells me

Not as fast as an Allison XB-2002 with a 150 smile

XB with a 150 is right at 80, I'm pretty sure 400 on a cat will out do that.

Dealer at Lavon told me back in the mid 80s that a Champ with a 300 V8 would run in the 90s out of the box. I should have taken him up on his test drive offer.I would expect more out a 400.

The Jaguar is a massive boat. Thus mass takes ponies to push it and the mass is more than dimensions in length and width. It truly is massive by comparison to other bass models.

Here is an image link to the Jaguar hull mold with a Puma/Cougar Euro hull in the mold. The hull is blocked up by a 7" square foam block to bring it up to a level on the mold.
