I planned on catching one during the big bass tournament on Conroe at the beginning of October and I caught a 2.5 lb'er. Haven't made it back to the lake since.

Yep. That is why I err on the side of heavier line. Always expecting a big bite.

I thought about it but is it really worth the time to drive to have it weighed, all the attention, having to tell The SAME fish story over and over. just seems tiring...
