Looking for a little direction for fishing PK Saturday 11/12. Just wondering what depths and what bait/presentations have been producing striper the last few weeks. Any help is greatly appreciated and I will be happy to give a report after our trip Saturday.

We will be in lite blue blue 22' cc with a T top. I have 5' antenna on the T top. Maybe we will cross paths on Saturday. I haven't been on PK since February so Saturday will be learning/scouting day for us. Hope we can stumble on a few fish.

Stripers still moving at mach three. 30-35 fow still most productive depths, Black bass are mixed in with the side liners in large numbers to 4 lbs.The fish are boat spooked all over the lake. Sand bass can be found via side image and to stay with them it is a must . Slabs and flies have worked the best for us. The real PK guru may chime in, this is only the experiences from some of the local fishermen from w"ford.

Better focus on the north side of the Peninsula. Bet if you called some of the guides they might give you a tip or two. All are pretty nice guys. There are some stripers down by the dam but they sit in a fog of bait. Haven't had much success unless I was sitting on a green light after dark and it's getting too cold for that.

Well yesterday was a bit slow. When we would find fish they would be gone in the blink of an eye. We ended up with 4 keepers in 3-6 lb range. We did catch a good amount of unders which is a very good sign for years to come. 40' FOW was the most productive depth for us. We caught fish on both slabs and swim baits. All keeper fish were caught between South D&D and Broadway area. Hope to get back out next weekend. Thanks again for the help. I will try and post some pictures later today of the 4 fish we kept.

How do y'all think the cold front moving in Friday (11/18) will affect the fishing Saturday (11/19)? I am considering making the trip to PK again, but I am thinking the cold front my make for tough day of fishing. What are y'alls thoughts/opinions?

Think I am going to hit the Lake close to my house this Saturday and do some Crappie fishing. The wife made plans for me Saturday afternoon. Plan to hit PK some over the Thanksgiving break. I am ready for the water to get cold and the Dead sticking action to turn on. Dead sticking for Striper is my favorite type of fresh water fishing. There is something about that thump that is addicting.

How do y'all think it will be during the day? Might be heading out Monday. Will the cold front help or hurt? I usually largemouth fish so I'm not experienced with striper.
