Looks like it will be cooler and BREEZY all week. NNE winds running 10-15 and higher gusts will mean a flat surf around G-town, choppy bay waters. If your fishing in a boat, you'll have to find cover. Fishing the ICW,back bays, and marshy areas will be a near must. Moses Lake provides cover once inside, South side of the TC Dike and SWP Channel side, and in the Galveston Ship Channel. Highland Bayou and the Diversionary Canal also provide cover while boating. Speaking of the Dike area..remember their is a ramp on the south side and parking across the road. If you launch at the far end, you could get wet going out so bring your rain gear. Now it won't be raining, but that NNE wind and the waves hitting the side of the boat......your gonna get wet. Where ever you go be safe and don't forget your cast net. Semper Fi 66'-

It will it will help a little .. Good post V bottom.

The causeway is also protected and flounder should start showing up there as well. It's still a bit warm to be hitting the SWP shorelines and ship channel.

Flounder pounder's work great for fishing the causway and new bridge for flounder...

These winds are pushing the bait to the south. Even with the tides the heavy wind is pushing the water well! Try the north shore of Galveston Island or the west shores of the bays. The wind is pushing the bait harder than the current in my opinion.
