Not sure how much has been said on here about it. I bought 12 pound test and used it the other day. I did notice a difference in feel. But does anyone have any pro's and cons's on it yet? At 33 dollars a spool, figured it was worth asking

I love sunline sniper. It's the main Floro I use. First off you will notice it cast better than any Floro Out there. The big thing here is compare line diameters not pound test. Compared to seagur it is weaker & thinner in the same box labeled pound test. 20 sniper = 17 seagur 16 sniper = 15 seagur 12 sniper = 10 seagur Ect... Hopefully this will help you pick the right lbs test. When big $ is on the line I spool up with sunline.

This is what I have found to. had some 20lb and was disappointed in it compared to seguar, the line casted way better and lasted longer but I broke off some fish. Going to try the 25lb and see how it works compared to 20lb seguar. The 16 sniper is pretty sweet and i have had good success with the 12lb reaction floro

I've been using Sniper 20lb and have been very happy with it. No unusual break offs for me, I'm slowly transitioning over to all Sniper from Invisx. Like James stated it is thinner than Invisx also.

Nate,
I have been using Sunline (mostly Super and some Sniper) for a year now and I really like it. I had gotten away from fluorocarbon until I tried Sunline.

I have been using sniper for a while now. I do prefer it over anything else and you can find it a lot cheaper that $33. I get mine for 19 to 24 depending on size from a local tackle shop. Good pricing on ebay also. You may want to look into assassin. It is less expensive than sniper and I have nothing bad to say about it so far.

Thanks Guys! I normally use 12# Berkley 100% Floro. So do you think I can bump it up to 16# sunline and still have the same line diameter?
