Any recent reports on Whitney? A couple of weeks ago, it sounded as if they were hammering them out there. Definitely would like to catch some sandies for the frying pan but really would like to hook up on some stripers. Are people catching them during the day? We're planning on duck hunting early morning and then hitting Whitney afterwards. Are they still on the south side of the lake and how deep are they running? 20-30 or 10-20?

Fish.. I'm no expert on Whitney, but was there today... I fished From Cedron Park To Allen Bend... On the west side... Shad everywhere... Limit of Stripers, several whites and a nice channel cat... Using crank baits only... My novice opinion, when you find the bait fish, you will find the Big fish... Good Luck
