Does anyone have this problem with humminbird units?? The screen is delaminating and I did take off the front plastic but the glass on the screen is really glued....

Yes mine is doing that just not that bad though.

Yes, just not that bad. Mine started a few months out of warranty and HB would not fix it even though it was occurring on many other 997 units.

BigBassLaredo, i have the same model and don't have that issue. You may want to post it in the General Equipment Discussion maybe Doug Vahrenberg can guide you in the right direction.

If you want to sell one of those I have one that is not working but has a good screen.

I will take the plastic front and put try to take out the glass to try to fix it, the cost for fix it with any company is more than $250 and the unit is OLD, I think it's not worth it, I'll fix it or broke it is worth the try.
