Hey Guys,

Just wondering if anyone has been out to Mineral Wells lately. I usually like going this time of the year and am going to stay there this weekend. Just checking if anyone has any updates on the fishing?

Thanks

Well it was slow. Speaking with some local fisherman, the Crappie bite was good before the rain we had this last weekend. I saw crappies being caught from the fishing piers around the lake, very few keepers. I was able to catch a dink as well as a few catfish, 6 pounder being the biggest.

Slow fishing weekend but a great time in the outdoors none the less.
