Anyone from Houston wanna help with gas ? Full day fishing. I will try hard to put you on fish. We meet up at the Hospital next to the feeder at 290 and Huffmeister and go in my truck. You fill gas for boat and truck. I take you fishing. Great for anyone new at fresh water fishing and are new to this lake. Find out a few common Hot spots where people normally hang out and catch fish. Whites and hybrids is what we hunting for. Let me know. Thanks!!

Btw you would need to buy your own crank bait(KVD dives 19' crank bait) and pet spoons (larger spoon not the tiny one). That will be the bait of choice tomorrow. 20lb braided line and both 20lb and15lb leader is what we will be using. If you have bad joints and it doesn't allowed you to handle the constant casting and reeling in high resistant crank bait then this will not be your type of trip.

OK one spot left. Cloudy day tomorrow. Don't know what to expect. It may be a god day,it may be a bad day. With wind changing direction and a slight front is coming through. All I can say is you never know unless you go. Still beats staying at home and going to work. Just trying to fill my diary with some November trips so I can have an idea what to expect next year. I usually go fishing for flounders during October and November but this year been unseasonably warm causing a major delay on the flounder run. We need a hard Northern to empty out the Bay.

Got it fisherman D. PM you later. But you would have to go get some of the items I mention above. Bring rain gear. Might get a little sprinkle. We gonna transition between hopping slabs and throwing crank baits. So rig up two poles.

I told these two guys I will try hard putting them on fish. Mission accomplished. I send them home with all the fish exept for 5 smaller ones I kept for dinner. Thanks guys for gas.

Had the lake almost all to my self. Seen two other boats

Fisherman design is just a very happy talkative guy. He caught his first hybrids and white bass on this trip. He experience the full power of a pizzed off hybrid.

Bruce,
Hopefully, one day I can learn from you. I love fishing, but I am not good at it at all. I did a paid guide trip in the past, but didn't feel that the guide wanted to show me anything.
You deserve a big thumb up as a fisherman and a fellow human being for your selfishless act.

Btw trolling is a method I use while I'm locating fish. Hooked fish confirm the specie's of fish I am seeing on the graph. Once a willing school is found that doesn't move on us. We prefer to cast arties, slabs, and live baits or any other methods besides trolling. On very hot or warmer months where them fish just refuse to take anything but a specific type of lures troll then yes I will troll specificly. If I take people fishing I will do every thing within my knowledge to put them on fish.
Mr c.g came in all the way from Austin.
Yesterday we troll and located a nice school of big white bass mixed in with hybrids. We were tearing them up spot locking away from the school and throwing crank bait and pet spoons till another troller kept trolling back and fourth near them marked school. They got spooked and scatter. They never left the area. Soons they start schooling together again the very same troller would troll right on by and break the school again. That went on for all day. We left and found fish else where. Fish schooling in 10'fow are easily spooked. I don't recommend any one trolling in shallow water as a mean to catch them unless they are scatter out all day or suspended trap in shallow water in a thermocline between 10-15' fow and or impossible to find a school pack together for slabbing. Yesterday almost became that day. Lot's of fish but scattered. I hope that Mr.fisherm design will chime in on the post. Ask him how many fish he caught casting and not trolling. We did troll a little bit yesterday but only because fish were scattered and refuse to school together. Like I said Trolling is my means of locating fish. Once found. My top prefered method to catch them is still and will always be live bait or slabs.
