I have a friends 91 Johnson 150. Was sitting 6 years before I got it and supposedly worked before. I bled it out and filled multiple times and was getting better then all the sudden the down quit working. No sound or anything. I can drain down manually and trim will go up. Is there a internal switch in the motor itself? neither trim controller will work. But only the down

There are 2 relays for the trim, one for up and other for down. Switch them and it should go up.

I ask because I had a battery going out and it seemed to cause me to go through two sets of relays before it went completely dead.
