I'd like to find sandbass and crappie in the river. I do great on lmb. I have a ton of different ways to catch them. Have you guys heard about BassGrabbers yet?

Went to panther pavillion with the kiddos this past weekend in the cold. Ended up with about 15 mixture of bass and blue gill. Fished the little creek passed the walkway. Could not get much action on jigs and plastics, or spinners. Switched to night crawlers and it was on. The water level was low and could see the bottom, however if you found a deep pocket you were golden, instant hookups. They were stack up in back of creek against the deeper bank near the parking lot.
Nothing really big in size, one bass was close to keeper, rest were dinks. However the blue gills were huge.

Went back out with my son, to kill a hour after work. Caught 20 in around a hour. Left them biting. Some fat blue gills.

I catch them year round in the trinity. However I never find them stacked. Seem to only manage a few here and there. But I will say every spot I try I always seem to catch a few.. The river is full of them... Look for cover, structure, points, and bends you will find them. Good little stretch on forest park blv. in fort worth when water levels are up. Hit up panther pavilion quite a bit last month did well on bass and blue gill. Want to try Rockwood next.
