Squaw Creek Open December 17th, 2016

� First Cast: 6:30a.m
� Last Cast: 3p.m
� BE IN LINE BY 3:15
� Entry: $80, $20 BB
� Registration- Morning of by the restrooms starting at 5a.m
� Payback: 70% payout; 30% for our club. Pay every 1 in 5 places up to 20 boats then 1 place for every 10 for bigger payouts (20 boats pays 4 places, 30 boats pays 5 places); 1 Big Bass
� Cash Only
� Open Team Tournament
� Team consists of two people fishing from the same boat
� Fishing Individual is allowed
� Rules:
o All state and local laws will be followed
o Only species of Black Bass will be weighed (Largemouth, Smallmouth, Spotted)
o 5 fish limit per team. Each fish must be 14� minimum
o Fishing by Rod and Reel and artificial lures only. Pork rind is acceptable. NO TROLLING
o Life Jackets must be worn at all times when big motor is in operation
o Common courtesy is recommended at all times
o Any law broken will be grounds for automatic disqualification

Even if it was 150, which it might be , it would be miserable to have 150 boats on the water for both events sake. Glad you moved it. Good luck at your tourney!

Only a week away!

What's the turnout looking like don't see to many people posting.

Have had a few people contact me but it's Squaw. You never know how many people are gonna show up. Hoping anywhere between 15-20 at least, make it worth everyones while! Plus the weather is supposed to be bad on Sunday so maybe more people decide to fish Saturday

There's alway 20-25 regulars.

Kinda what I was hoping but hadn't seen many comments I'm scared of the cold I'll probably fish saturday. Cya there

I'm scared of high winds

30 to 40 winds now I'm out

That's in the evening. 10-15 until 4pm

Winds say 10-15 early then 15-20 at the end of the day. Should be a great day. Hope to see everyone there!

This was yesterday, 2 to 5 mile an hour on Thursday and 20 to 40 on Saturday. Seems like that is the way it goes. Had a good day with about 15 Keepers.

Was out there last cold snap on a Thursday and it blew a freakin blizzard

this has to be miserable today

I'm kicking myself for not fishing today. Light wind partly cloudy. Should be some good bags caught today.

Surely you are kidding CB, it is blowing 30+ over on the east side today

Wind has been decent until about ten minutes ago. Switched to the north and is blowing pretty good now.

Wow. It was blowing at least 25-30 in rockwall all morning. I'm in Plano now and it has dropped 20-25 degrees in 30 minutes with a hard North wind.

Weather is perfect here. Wind just now picked up some. 7-8 all day mph

21lbs took it 6lb big bass

Yep, it was a nice day until about 2:00. I was fishing in a t shirt and shorts half the day.

Chris we missed you out there! It was a great day with fairly light winds all day right up until about 2. I want to thank everybody that came out and fished! We had 21 boats total fish with 14 limits. It was a great day! I didn't get all last names, sorry about that. Results are as follows:

1st Place- Neil and Shayla with 21.22
2nd Place- Hollingshead and Lambert with 18.76
3rd Place- Aaron and Rene with 18.40
4th Place- Dakota Mathis with 17.98

Big Bass of 6.23 went to the team of Jake McWhirter amd Dylan B.

Thanks again everyone for coming out amd our next tournament will be sometime at the end of March at Possum Kingdom!
