I was thinking about this again today...what happened? I know he had a bad temper but he was also having health problems when I last fished with him. I thought he was a pretty good guy although he might have rubbed a few people the wrong way from time to time. So why does he not fork for FW anymore?

I was told there was a "falling out" between him & mgmt, & no deckhands had any good things to say about him towards the end. Last I heard he was back up your way in Arlington, laying carpet.......
this was 12 months ago, though

..... In other news, Casey got his Capt's license & I sure hope he gets the
2nd captain spot on SC, I've known him a long time, & he deserves it!

I asked Capt Jay about him this last trip and he said he has not talked to him in a long time. He's called and left messages but never connected.

Porkchop is up here in Cleburne(?) managing a warehouse and happy according to Jay.

I enter a hearty second on Casey. Any further discussion?

Can someone explain how the Feds count recreational Red Snapper catch?

I've been trying to place Casey and can't. Is he the young baldish one that doesn't talk much? Nice guy but I wish he would smile more wink

I fished the Cat last weekend and Casey was crewing it. We had a lot of good conversations during the trip. Good guy for sure and he really works his butt off.

First you tell me I'm short. Then you tell me I'm old. Before long you'll have everyone thinking I'm old and short.

Careful buster or I'll pop you with my six pack of Ensure. taz
