Crappie Anglers of Texas has announced the tournament schedule for 2017. There are some great lakes on next year's schedule. And you only need to fish two(2) tournaments to qualify for the Championship tournament on Palestine in Oct. These are great crappie lakes with plenty of big fish to be caught. For info on tournaments go to http://www.crappieanglersoftexas.comCrappiefest is set for April 1, on Fork. There will be additional prizes this year. Also, there will be prizes for mystery weights that will be drawn after all fish are weighed in. More details later, but this will be a tournament you will want to fish so mark your calendar now. This year, a lucky angler netted a crappie over 3 lbs and took home $9,000. As always, Crappie Fest is open to all fisher persons. The junior angler divisions will be gifted with plenty of prizes.
