We fished Monday in the rain and Tuesday. We were fishing out of Highport and stayed from Hog Island over to the Boy Scout camp. Not really catching much of anything following the birds using slabs and jigs, Sassy Shads, Flukes, I put on a white slab with a chartreuse jig above it and tried deadsticking . That's when I started catching fish. Just deadsticking off the bottom in 15 - 25 ft. of water. It was a dinkfest as far as the stripers go, the white bass were of pretty good size and saved the day. Not a great trip, but I've had a Texoma jinx on me for a good while and the trip broke that. So I had a great time.
"No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms. The strongest reason for the people to retain the right to keep and bear arms is, as a last resort, to protect themselves against tyranny in government." --Thomas Jefferson,
