Lake Welsh.
I've been there about 3 times as a non boater. I know there were/are limited lanes for running. If I'm not mistaken, I think we only ever run in the South End. I've come across a ot of messages about Welsh and a running map someone here shared. I've searched and searched here on TFF but have not been successful.
If any of this rings a bell and you mange to find the old posting.. please re-post. If you have advice, please do share. I'm sure this will come useful for others.

When I run to the south I do have a track but I think if you stay about 100 yds off the right hand bank from the hot water outlet and run south you should be ok.
Keep that same straight line to the next point pass the power line and about 50-75 yards off that point would be good all the way to the dam.
I ran that way years ago before I had GPS tracking. If lake is full it is a lot easier.
Lots of big floaters in the middle. Someone said they clear them out years ago but not sure about that. That is all I have hope it helps.

In case your not familiar with the above map, inside the red lines where it's checkered is where you run. The blue lines are decent fishing areas

There are floaters South of the landing in the running lane. On each side of the Power lines, that are just out of the water.

Over the years, I have moved three floaters on Welsh to shallow water to get them out of the boat lanes. I think I'll be out there next week sometime. I'll look for them and move them (if they have already not moved on their own).
