My son and I have been thinking about fishing Tawakoni in the next few weeks and hoped you fellows could give me some advise on where to launch from. What are the safe ramps? Don't care if I pay or not just want my truck to be in one piece when we return.

Hard to beat state park ramp. Plus you have a great chance of your truck being intact when you come back in.

I use Holiday too. 15+ visits and fishing well past midnight and truck/trailer have been fine.

State Park has the best ramp, courtesy dock and protection for your truck and trailer. One thing though, the gates don't open until 7am. You can register there at the office so that you can call the day before and they will give you the combo to the lock.
