November Fishing Report – Richland Chambers Lake

November this year is looking really good.
We're catching lots of sand bass some small ones and really big ones.
Catching mainly smaller hybrid Stripers with an occasional keeping size hybrid.
This is all good news for the future of fishing on Richland fishing.
Just last year and the two years before that we couldn't catch enough sand bass in the Fall seasons to take anyone fishing for sand bass and now here we are after a couple of good spring floods to help the spawning action and some very good hybrid stockings we're back on track to have a lake full of all species of fish.
About the catfish I’m catching lots of catfish on baited wholes with punch bait.
Also doing well on the catfish with shad on the open water drop offs in depths of 27ft to 31ft.
Bass fishermen are catching plenty of Black bass and there's good numbers of smaller crappie being caught.

This past week Sea Gulls and Terns showed up in pretty good numbers and some even showed me the way to feeding fish.
Most fish I'm catching now are in depths between 15ft. and 24ft. and sometimes out to 31ft.
I'M always using the ounce and three quarters chartreuse slab, made by MoesTackle with the little crappie jig tied about 6 inches above the slab.
It's a very productive rig to fill the cooler full of fish on a half day trip.
