Fire and police dept are looking the owner of an abandoned boat on Lake Waxahachie. It's a 1977 raycraft. Boat washed up near Lakewood Dr with fishing equipment inside and signs it was very recently in use. Registration is expired and last known owner didn't have records on who he sold to. If you know who it may be, contact the WPD so they can find out if the owner is safe or if they need to continue recovery efforts.

Could have been a break down and a ride to a ramp situation.....hopefully.

They checked all the ramps and didn't find a trailer to match. They're hoping it was dumped and keeping an eye out for any missing persons reports.

I fished Hachie this morning from 5:30 till about 9:30. I ran most of the lake and didn't spot any sign of people in distress. I pray everyone is alright.

89jav, the inlet pipe under the bridge was pumping water in pretty good this morning. Shad balled up pretty tight in that little area under bridge. Had a couple of blow ups on buzzbait but no takers. Hard to compete with that many shad in one area. Saw a dozen or so dead shad floating toward main lake. I catch numbers out of the grass on south side and size off docks. Slow bite though.

caught two good sized bass WAY on the upper end this afternoon. Near the mouth of Waxahachie creek. Flipping stumps and brush piles. Caught around 20 between 4 and dark (whatever time that was tonight) on a Zoom green pumpkin 4" worm drop shoting. I was tired. And just let the boat stick on the island. Haha. I was listening to the post game show on 105.3. Haha. It was easy....but not one fish in the drop shot was bigger than 10-12". Haha.
