Had Tommy and Keith out Friday morning on Ray Roberts for a half day trip. The brush pile bite was a little slower with the North winds today. The fish were holding tight to the brush. They still almost fished out 10 dozen minnows and I cleaned 27 keepers. The jig bite was starting to turn on as well. Starting to see blue gills showing up on certain brush piles and timber pretty thick. It was nice weather for fishing and they had a great time.

Ran into Don The Angler and Boston Bob as well. It was nice talking with them as we cleaned fish.

Customers have kept some of the big ones they have caught. I'm pretty sure you could catch enough of them to make a few nice meals. Next customer with little kids will get a treat if catching a bunch of them.
