I buy in wholeheartedly that Yamamoto makes the stick bait with the best action...

But I'm getting tired of the cost for a bait that lasts me one fish and/or 10 casts (even with an o ring, they weaken to the point where I constantly lose them on a cast).

Other than Yamamoto, do you guys have a stick bait that you have a lot of faith in?

Cabelas has there own brand that I have had luck on, along with Yum dingers. If weightless wacky rig I use bubble frys, and Grande Bass Rattlesnakes!

Yum Dinger

The Yum Dinger is about as good as you'll get to the Yamamoto Senko. They have a similar wiggle and fall, and they're very durable. Plus, they don't break the bank.

I have good results with Yum Dingers. I'm cheap so when they get too torn up from T-rigging, I throw them in a ziploc bag and use them for wacky rigging.

How slow do they sink with no salt in them?

Agreed on the cost. Between my son and I we went through 4 or 5 100 count bags this year. Now I see TW is not carrying them in bulk and the 10 count bags are higher than Academy. Going to try the yumdingers

Unfortunately, the salt in the bait is what causes it to breakdown quicker.
