which dobyns rods are you using for weightless worms? i was thinking about getting the champion xp 744 for them, too much?

My buddy does the same thing. I just can't feel it like that.

I'd go either a 733 or 734, I currently use a Dobyns Extreme HP 743 for weightless, awesome rod, but it's going to be for sale in favor of a 893.

I use either a 744 or 745 I can throw either one just fine. the 745 has a little more backbone for hook set. This is just a personal preference.

Not when you use a minimum of 20# flouro and a 5/0 heavy wire hook. When I make a long cast, I want to turn a 7#er before she runs off in a bush. Just my style. There is no one way to any of this.

senkos or heavy enough to throw with about any rod.

alright. ive thrown them on a heavy action duckett i just figured the dobyns would be stiffer. why do you use such big gear? where are you fishing at?

Lake Fork big line and rods to get big girls out of stumps and brush tops before they break you off. You can get away with smaller rods like a 743 or 742 if you have room to fight the fish without getting into stumps
