GREAT things happen I was in the shop attempting to make revisions the website, when Belinda stepped in and said "Sure is nice outside, leaves aren't even moving!"
She didn't have to twist my arm too hard
After filling up the boat and picking up a
HEFTY samwich @ Lake Fork Resort, we again launched at 515W @ Noon.
Fished some timber close to the ramp with no success and I was beginning to think, this was gonna be "One of those Days!"
Idled past my good tree that the pontoon had been close to the other day and I was almost blinded by the fish on the graph
We quickly set about to ripping some lips
1st fish of the day @ 12:45
The better fish were biting
Once it slowed down, Belinda wanted to go hit the "Hump Pile"
While idling, I marked a big laydown in 24fow that had white bleeps all over it
We started janking fish up from the "Hump Pile"
A couple of times we thought we ought to measure a fish, it would be 11's
When it slowed down, we'd drop some Slab Slobber on our baits and catch a few more
We were chunking fish in the front livewell, but it was so full, they were flopping back out on the floor.
We decided to move the fish to the back livewell and do a count.
We both started laughing, 42 in the box
I told Belinda about the laydown I had spied, and said "Let's move there and wrap this up"
#50 came over the side of the boat @ 3:45
Now here's the KICKER, we could see the truck at the ramp the entire time
All fish caught in 18-24 fow 2-3' off bottom on 2" & Mini Tadpoles in Lime Glo-Treuse
Sure is nice outside right now, but my back still needs more recovery time
