Fished The Lew today, banker's hours. It was cloudy with a light breeze. Fish were active on select main lake points. Caught around 20, mostly small.

No idea why that is upside down. But it's a 3 pound bass, nothing you haven't seen before.

Only 1 on a brush hog ??? you might need to try one with some kind of green in it.

Nice! I've caught lots of bass on a WP but nothing as big as that one yet. What size Whopper Plopper did you use?

I'm also trying to get confidence in underspins but I'm striking out so far. What kind of retrieve do you use?

Nice day!

I have not every had luck with topwaters of any kind on Lville for bass.

Good for you. I guess they will hit on top at the big L.

The very bottom section on here is called Help and Test... Their are detailed instructions there.

That is not helpful Bill. That is step one. Steps can vary from there based on device, picture type and many other factors. None of which you addressed.

Letting him know that detailed instructions can be found in the Help and Test section is more helpful than your post.

PlanoTom it was the smaller 130 size Plopper in a silvery color that came in my Mystery Tackle Box. Really enjoyed fishing this bait. Very easy to fish and tremendous hook up ratio. There was only one blow up that I didn't land (and of course it was the biggest fish of the day that went airborne boat side). The Plopper is like a buzzbait that you can pause and even twitch and pop.

And as far as topwater at Lew, it's the first good topwater day I've had. But also usually just make ten casts and put it down.
