Been the last two weeks and all I catch is 12 inchers. Docks, points, lilly pads, flipping. All seem to get 12 inchers. What am I doing wrong?

Try pitching a jig in timber around drops(4-12ft). That and a flat sided squarebill has been what the bigger ones have been eating for me.

Nice to know I'm not the only one struggling out here lately. I fished Saturday night and biggest I could put in the boat was 3 and a half pounds. I had to fish extremely slow to be productive

What mike said. Your too shallow. Find bait schools. Also for me daylight till about ten. Found giant school of blacks on top with gulls working them a week ago right at sun up. Thought they were whites at first. I have not caught a white since May it seems so don't overlook surface schools cause some nice fish are feeding hard at times

Is it that everyone struggles or is it that expectations are too high these days. The 90's are long gone and at least for now, Fork is just an average lake. There are still some big bass in there and maybe things will improve with the new water and better spawns.

I went yesterday thinking I could get a frog bite but couldn't find any vegetation anywhere, ( where's it at?) Ended up catching some small ones in 15-18 ft. of water. No sandies on the road beds either. Think epicoutdoors is right.

Fish creek channels, and channel swings, get the boat right in the channel, pitch or flip to stumps on the outside edges in 5-12 foot let it fall back into the channel.. 6 xd works too, the bigger fish are a little deeper. I'm starting about half way back in Penson, Duck Call, and Double Oak coves.. Some nice fish will start to move out in 20-24 foot with the crappie migration down south on ledges and long points.. I love that...soon, real soon.

There was some good vegetation in the creek across from Hideaway Harbor in Little Caney a few weeks ago.

Fishing on the lake has declined ever since. Because there is so much pressure a few big ones are still caught but it is still not what it was in the late 80s---early 90s!!!

Big baits and deep water seem to be the key for the pros that have set World records the last few years. The lake is in great shape and has some toads that are not being caught by the people still fishing the same old spots. Best of luck to ya!

I was there last weekend and the best "keeper" fish came from creek channels @ 12-15' and docks 3' of water.
you know, nothing wrong with seven men who met on the internet going for a swim together
