So ordered some goodies from crazy angler and the last two orders they've sent me this bioflex stuff. I have no clue what it is intended for lol... I've played with it and maybe my rookie skills are just not keen on what it'd be good to use for!! Any input? Thanks guys!!

Talked to someone about a week ago that ask me about that stuff too. Most of what I see for Bioflex is skirt materials and maybe what you have is also, but since I have not seen what it looks like it's kind of hard to say much. The guy I spoke with told me in a way I was thinking it's looks like a tube shape and with that maybe a minnow type body material? I don't know, but would like to see it.
As I understood it's much like Mylar tubing you can buy for lots of different uses.

If it is the braid like Skip is talking about I love the stuff and it is easy and fast to tie. A few weeks ago I added one pack on with a order from Robert just to check it out and he sent I think 8 as free stuff. I am using it the same as chenille and have not water tested it myself, but the few local I still tie for fished it the past 10 days and I think all have come back wanting more jigs. The stuff turned the light better than anything I have ever used. Its best to heat the end of the tubing and tie it on the hook while soft and its there to stay. IT is a small body and even on old style hooks can come all of the way back to the bend for a full size jig.

If you remember those old finger traps where you'd put one finger in both ends and pull it'd close around your fingers that's the type of stuff this is kinda... it's baffling lol!!

Yes I believe some will use that as the body of a fly or jig. They will probably coat it with a clear type coating to make it more durable. Much like guys use the Mylar tubing. An example may be coating it with Softex after it's tied?
There may well be other uses, but I am unsure of what.

I've seen it un-raveled and tied in as flash in the tail.

I'd used it as a tail. Use a little longer than you normally would use on a tail, then put it on the hook almost as you would a worm, then finish it with the body material. Last step is to unravel it.
