I started reading this section about a month ago and decided I would try my hand at painting my own baits. I ordered some blanks and painted my first one this weekend. I am just using rattle can paint right now but will be buying an airbrush set up in the next couple of weeks. This one isn't perfect but I am sure proud of it. I took it out Saturday evening and caught a couple of fish with it! Definitely a very cool feeling to catch fish on a bait you put time into.

well done for spray paint!! I've done a couple that way and they don't look nowhere near as good!
