I went to Cabelas yesterday and paid 11.99 for replacement blades for my rapala knife. So I went to Academy today and bought another set of replacement blades for 6.99. Very frustrating. While at Academy I chose to purchase a Bubba blade to fillet some fish with . Now I own every fillet knife known to man but I like the handle on this bubba blade. Plus it is named after me. I will report back how I like the bubba and would be interested in your experience also? I do own a very nice Dexter and case fillet knife also but use them in my boat to cut bait. I have cleaned many fish with both the Dexter and Case knives.

Same as Stubby here. Have used American Angler for years. I use the Bubba to cut the ribs out of fillets and cut the red out of Sandies. The Bubba works fine, but I have a couple of Rapala fillet knives that work as well or better.

Well I have slowed down fishing. Sighting guns and sharpening knives to process game. I should get down to Lake Fork next week to catch some catfish. Will definately try the bubba. I bought the long one so I hope I catch some larger fish to try.

Try the American Angler. I just broke out a new set of shark blades last weekend. The last set of blades probably cleaned at least 1000 fish.

I have a bubba blade it's awesome I've used it for briskets and other meats. I now use it for cut-bait. I will be buying another one for the house

I keep count of the number of catfish I fillet. I cleaned over 600 last year. Now I have bought new blades a couple of times. I have never heard of shark blades before. I will google them. The reason I keep count of the number of fish is so I can tell if fishing is improving or not. Lake Fork has become a very good catfish lake for me.
