Lavon has been really good. We have limited on every trip in last week. Most trips are producing 60-75 keeper fish up to 2 pounds. Ledges, rocks, points and deep brush piles will produce. 18-22' has been most productive depths for me. I'm rigging two 1/8 ounce jigs and bouncing or dragging on the bottom. Early mornings you can catch some suspended fish under schools of Shad. I try to find a school of fish and work that school. Once sun gets up good they will scatter more and hold tight to bottom. I ignore the Shad when that happens and just focus on a depth that I'm seeing fish on the bottom. If your not seeing fish change depths or move until you see a few. keep your baits on bottom and cover some ground. Once you catch a couple sit on them. I'm actually seeing fish on my graph in groups of 3-5 and pick them off. This is the one time I tie on whatever jig I pick up. Color is not important if you get on them. Half a minnow tipped on your jig will help more than color when they shut down. I have a couple open days early next week.
Good luck

Had a 3 man limit yesterday in 3 hours. Had 8 fish over 2 pounds. Fishing is great! I still have a couple openings next week.
